BigPatents India
The first and best Indian patent search.
BigPatents India is a free website containing all the Indian patent applications and grants since January, 2005. It was the first to provide a searchable interface to Indian patent data. BigPatents India will soon have many more features including an advanced search, links to European and USA patents when applicable, and clean firm names.
XB Labs developed BigPatents India in collaboration with Professor Bhaven Sampat at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columnbia University, with generous funding from The Ford Foundation.
BigPatents India is heavily used by many academics, activists, patent attorneys, firms, and researchers. It is often listed as an unofficial resource to all Indian patents, including in World Health Organization manuals and by The British Library.
